A Species canna with large mid green banana like foliage reaching up to 3 ft with elegant two toned red and yellow flowers. Large plants approx 30cm tall and come in 1.5 litre pots this is a great plant for the exotic border. Treat as any other canna in Winter, although I bring mine inside and they carry on flowering for me over xmas. Canna patens likes plenty of water and feeding during the growing seasoning, combined with regular potting on this will ensure repeat flowering through summer.
