Aster novae-angliae 'Violetta' is a tall aster with rich dark purple flowers bourne in september. Like all new england aster cultivars this plant is mildew resistant. Aster novae-anglaie violetta is a great addition for the back of a herbaceous border giving late season interest. Plant with other late perennials such as Aster novae-anglaie 'alma potschke' or Kniphofia rooperi for a stunning autumn display. Plants suppilied in 2litre pots and reach 1.5m tall and approximately 50cm spread.
