Splendid grass that forms hummocks of green foliage 40cm high by 60cm wide and golden flowerheads on stems that reach 1.5-2m tall. Sounds big but because of its transulent qualities it can be planted at the front of a border or next to a path or window without being obtrusive. You can tidy this grass in early february by cutting the foliage and remaining flower stems back to just 3 or 4 inches which allows light to spring bulbs nearby and gioves the grasses a fresh lush look when they start to grow back. Suppilied in 9cm pots plant in free draining soil in full sun.
