Aster x frikartii 'Monch' is a herbaceous perennial bearing large blue/lavender daisy flowers from july all the way through to october. Aster x Frikartii 'Monch' is a must have for any garden because of its long flowering season and will look good in a prarie style planting scheme or a cottage garden herbaceous border. Grow in full sun and free draining soil, this variety is mildew resistant. Like most members of the asteraceae family it is an excellent choice for a wildlife garden attracting all manner of bees and butterflies. Plant Aster x Frikartii in large drifts with Rudbeckia fulgida Var Deamii for greatest impact. This plant has a lazy habit so will need some staking, 70cm tall. Plants suppilied in 2 litre pots.
