Gorgeous summer flowering bulb from South Africa producing many green flowers with a purple outline arranged together on the stem giving the appearance of a pineapple. Large leaves and stems have beautiful black markings. Totally hardy in a free draining spot in full sun, it will reach 30cm to 40cm tall and flowers in August, after time will form a decent clump. Ideal for growing in pots, feed with tomato feed and water regularly when in growth in summer. Looks great with Agapanthus, large healthy plants suppilied in 2l pots grown to flowering size.
